My mission is to contribute to world peace and harmony by helping create it at the atomic level of one family at a time. I am dedicated to serving you and your children to create positive transformations, more understanding and open communication in your relationships, thereby creating love and harmony in the family.
But I didn't start off like that.
For most of my childhood, I was given to believe that I talked ‘too much’, I couldn’t play sports because I was stellar at academics, and that to be ‘strong’ I need to be quiet and patient rather than my bubbly and enthusiastic self.
Despite a few such negative beliefs that carved themselves into my subconscious, I had a rather uneventful childhood. School and college was a breeze, post which I easily secured three on-campus placements, given the confidence and ease with which I carried myself.
What followed was the emotional upheavals of expat life, as I moved from post marriage from India to Dubai and Singapore, working in events, marketing and soft skills, meeting people from various cultures and nationalities. I lead a very joyous life, bringing into the world two healthy children whilst enjoying the gifts of marriage, family and friendships.
However, at the back of my mind I always had a nagging thought. Finally twelve years in, I realized there was still some ‘inner work’ left to be done. I took a break from full time work to look for something more meaningful and which would add to my spiritual learnings.
That was the time I discovered the magical world of life coaching.
At first, I wasn’t impressed. How could conversing rid people of their life long negative baggage? How could aches and pains dissolve in minutes? Could knowing your values and life purpose actually be the key to leading a life of happiness and fulfillment?
It all seemed too good to be true. The skeptic in me was doing a Hawaiian cabaret.
But soon, my childhood beliefs hidden in various crevices appeared and evaporated into oblivion, through the art and science of life coaching.
I learnt to still feel like a woman of strength and substance while being my bubbly, talkative, energetic self.
As I allowed the awareness to seep into my being, all the negativity started washing away, and I felt myself growing into a better version of myself. Not who I was twenty years ago, but a woman who had embraced her life and learnt the lessons she needed to, to live her life on her terms in the present.
I gave myself permission to not succumb to what others thought I should be. I gave myself permission to be ME - MY version.
I realized for the first time in my life that the world around me was a reflection of my inner world.
If I truly wanted to change something on the outside, I first needed to transform on the inside.
Today, I work with parents just like you who understand that seeking professional help for their child or for themselves is not a sign of weakness. On the contrary, it is a sign of being proactive and invested in the personal development of your child and your family.
Married for over 20 years, I currently live in Dubai with my husband, and teen daughter and son. The highs and lows of marriage and motherhood are my forte, to say the least. Let me help you navigate this journey for you and your family.
